9. Pagani Zonda C12 F $667,321. Developed by a small independent company in Italy, the Pagani Zonda C12 F is the 8th most expensive car in the world. It promises to delivery a top speed of 215 mph+ and it can achieve in 0-60 to 3.5 seconds.

The Pagani Zonda is a sports car developed by the Italian producer Pagani. It introduced in 1999, and product ended in 2011, with two special edition cars, the Zonda 760RS and the Zonda 760LH, being developed in 2012. As of June 2009, 206 Zondas had been constructed, including test mules. Both 2-seat coupe and exchangeable versions have been produced. Construction is mainly of carbon fiber.
Some of the early Zonda engineering was done by Formula One champion Juan Manuel Fangio. The car was originally to be named the "Fangio F1" after him but, following his death in 1995, it was renamed for an air current above Argentina.
